Product database of registered drugs in Finland

MR-Drug database is, according to official requirements, updated twice a month for customers, product database of drugs. Multirec’s pharmacists and doctors are checking and completing the database. Database is tested in a test environment and verified information is delivered to customers by Multirec.

Multirec enriches Kela drug database with following information:

• Dosing instructions:
• dose, e.g. ”2”
• drug form, e.g. ”tablet”
• how many times, e.g. ”times”
• time qualifier, e.g. ”in a day”
• patient information text, e.g. ”2 hours before meal”
• Sales package id: unique identifier to link different database contents to each other
• Trade name id: identifies trade name and links contents
• Auxiliary name: additional name which helps finding the right drug package
• Vaccine abbreviation: eg. “HAV-HBV”
• Drug key: internal link code for defining the trade name, ATC code and administration route

MR-Drug database is so called master database, in which every other databases Multirec provides are linked.
